A little about me.
I’m Nathan Manzi, and I’m a nerd.
I currently work as General Manager of Technology & Advisory Services at Gold Corporation/The Perth Mint, one of the world’s largest precious metals enterprises. I’m responsible for overseeing the development and execution of IT strategy, as well as managing operations and information security at this iconic organisation that has been operating since 1899. It’s a challenging but rewarding role that allows me to apply my skills and knowledge in a dynamic and innovative setting.
I’m also a dad of three, and raising them is likely the only thing I’m more proud of than my work. They keep me busy and entertained with their antics and achievements. They also keep me humble and grounded with their brutally honest feedback on my dad activities (dadtivities?) and frequent eye-rolls.
When I’m not working or being a dad, I’m typically building something. Reverse engineering, PCB and circuit design, software development, and product design for 3D printing are just a few of my areas of interest, which changes as frequently as the wind. You can see a bunch of things I’ve built in my blog or on my projects page.
