A little about me.
I’m Nathan Manzi, and I’m a cloud transformation and information security goon. That means I help businesses migrate their IT infrastructure and applications to the cloud, while ensuring they are secure, reliable and scalable. I also help them adopt best practices and tools for managing their cloud environments.
I currently work as the IT Operations Manager for Gold Corporation/The Perth Mint, one of the world’s largest precious metals enterprises. I’m responsible for overseeing the IT strategy, operations and security of this iconic organisation that has been operating since 1899. It’s a challenging but rewarding role that allows me to apply my skills and knowledge in a dynamic and innovative setting.
I’m also a dad of two little dudes and a teenage girl, likely the only thing I’m more proud of than my work. They keep me busy and entertained with their antics and achievements. They also keep me humble and grounded with their honest feedback and occasional eye-rolls.
When I’m not working or being a dad, I’m typically building something. Reverse engineering, PCB and circuit design, software development, and product design for 3D printing are just a few of my areas of interest, which changes as frequently as the wind. You can see a bunch of things I’ve built in my blog or on my projects page.
